SEO Strategist – Part-time Contract

Milesopedia is the reference media for credit card and rewards programs in Canada. We’re proud to inform consumers about their points, so they can optimize the way they earn and spend them! We also write a variety of travel-related content and features.

Our versatile and enthusiastic team of experts is looking for someone to support us in our mission.

This 6-month contract, for 15 to 20 hours per week, is for remote work, from anywhere and at your preferred hours.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting SEO audits to optimize the website
Developing an action plan including SEO strategies to optimize content
Analyzing publication performance
Developing digital marketing strategies for the website and newsletter
Assisting in writing a guide and procedures for authors to help them write optimized articles

Requirements:

3 to 5 years of experience in natural search engine optimization (SEO)
Excellent knowledge of natural SEO, social media, and how they work
Excellent time management, analytical skills, and creativity
A university degree or certificate in communication, marketing, information technology, or any other relevant training.
In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Trends, Google AdWords, WordPress, and Facebook Business Manager
Excellent command of written and spoken French and English
