Last May, I stayed at Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club<\/a>, an all-inclusive for adults located in the heart of Tulum, Mexico. This eco-chic resort, inaugurated last autumn, features circular buildings surrounded by greenery and cenote-style pools linked by a lazy river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 301-room property offers upscale amenities and the Unlimited-Luxury experience for which Hyatt<\/a>‘s Secrets Inclusive Collection<\/a> is renowned. It attracts mainly a clientele aged between 30 and 45, couples and groups who want to enjoy the vibrant ambiance of Tulum while benefiting from a high level of comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The complex is located in the Aldea Zama district of Tulum. It’s just a 15-minute cab ride from downtown. If possible, choose to arrive at the new Tulum airport<\/a>, inaugurated this spring, just 25 minutes from the resort. By comparison, Canc\u00fan airport takes around two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check-in and Lobby<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and elegant ambiance of the lobby. The bohemian, eco-chic, jungle-inspired design creates an immediately soothing atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My suite was spacious and luxurious. It was a suite overlooking a cenote-style pool in the Preferred Club<\/em> section that comes with concierge service. I particularly appreciated the comfort of the bed and the amenities, which were top-notch. In the bathroom, I had biodegradable sunscreen and insect repellent at my disposal. I also appreciated the eco-responsible touch that can be found throughout the resort, and more broadly, in Tulum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to dining, there are 10 options, including \u00e0 la carte restaurants, buffets, a caf\u00e9, a grill and several bars, including a sports bar. I really enjoyed my experience at the Olio restaurant, where I sampled delicious Mediterranean cuisine in a superb setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
