Here is a summary of the most important points:<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"component component__list\"><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Transit time in Doha must be a <strong>minimum of 8 hours<\/strong> and a maximum of 24 hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There must be no earlier flight available, i.e. your layover must be as short as possible. Having paid for my ticket with Avios, I was not eligible for the <strong>STPC<\/strong>, but my friend was. At the <strong>Qatar Airways<\/strong> counter, the agent could not change the accommodation to a double room.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, at the check-in desk of the Oryx Garden Hotel, I was able to pay a supplement of <span class=\"nowrap\"><strong>200 QAR<\/strong><\/span> (approximately <span class=\"nowrap\">CA$75<\/span> or <span class=\"nowrap\">\u20ac50<\/span>) to access the room.
