The transition to the new program began on <strong>July 6, 2023<\/strong> in the United States, and will affect around 145 million members worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People using Vrbo will be very happy to know that they will now be able to earn rewards on their reservations. Expedia points will be converted into OneKeyCash dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, this will result in the devaluation of the much loved <a href=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/en\/guide\/tutorials\/how-to-use-hotels-com-rewards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hotels.com Rewards<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Program officials say:<\/p>\n\n\n<aside class=\"component component__quote wp-block-milesgutenberg-quote\">\n\t<div class=\"component__quote__icon\">\n\t\t<i class=\"fa-solid fa-quote-left\"><\/i>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"component__quote__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"component__quote__content__inner\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<p>You no longer have to wait 10 nights to redeem rewards. One Key gives you the ability to use your rewards as you earn them, on your own schedule, for a range of travel options, including flights and car rentals.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Hotels.com Rewards was easy to understand. For each night booked and stayed via Hotels.com, a stamp was given. High-status people can expect to earn back a little, thanks to their discount on certain hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, it appears that there will no longer be the benefit of the <a href=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/en\/guide\/tutorials\/how-to-use-hotels-com-rewards\/#Lavantage_Garantie_de_prix_Plus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Price Guarantee Plus<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, the 2% to 6% return of the new One Key program is <strong>far from the 10% return<\/strong> achieved with Hotels.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From now on, it might be better to book directly with the hotel or accommodation you want. You&#8217;ll earn membership status and benefits that can better serve you, like at <a href=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/en\/reward-program\/marriott-bonvoy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marriott Bonvoy<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/programme-fidelite\/hilton-honors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hilton<\/a> or <a
