Although it will no longer be possible to get Wi-Fi in mid-flight, this will save on the often expensive roaming fees charged by mobile providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"component component__list\"><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mastercard World credit card holders can get up to 1 GB of data roaming with FlexiRoam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>World Elite Mastercard credit card holders will get up to 3 GB of data, with three 1 GB roaming packages with FlexiRoam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible cardholders will also benefit from a 15% discount on subsequent FlexiRoam purchases.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>All terms, conditions and guidelines for this benefit with FlexiRoam are <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/mastercard.flexiroam.com\/fr-CA\">detailed on this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-h-r-block-discount\">H&amp;R Block Discount<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>World Elite Mastercard cardholders will also be eligible for a 30% discount on <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"H&amp;R Block\" href=\"\/go\/hr-block\/\" rel=\"noindex\">H&amp;R Block<\/a> services. This offer is valid from April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. Otherwise, a few airlines such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mastercard.ca\/en-ca\/personal\/find-a-card\/world-elite.html#note1\">Air Canada<\/a> and <a>WestJet<\/a> offer (or will offer) free Wi-Fi or free messaging, but this service still has to be paid for by the majority of airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This article will be updated when we have more details. Those affected by these changes will be World and World Elite Mastercard holders.
