Until a few years ago, Lufthansa offered First Class flights to Canada. I did not have the chance to travel on the Concorde. So I try to seize every opportunity that comes my way to quench my <em>Avgeek&#8217;s<\/em> thirst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here is my latest experience: a First Class flight aboard a Singapore Airlines A380 from Frankfurt to New York. A flight booked thanks to KrisFlyer Miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-singapore-airlines-a380-suites\">Singapore Airlines A380 Suites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>After 1 week in Portugal, I reached Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) to board this flight to New York (JFK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once I arrived at the check-in counter, getting my boarding pass with a design reserved for Suites passengers was fast and easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Singapore-Airlines-Suites-02.jpg\" alt=\"Review: Singapore Airlines A380 Suites | First Class | FRA-JFK - Singapore Airlines Suites-02\" class=\"wp-image-203281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Singapore-Airlines-Suites-02.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Singapore-Airlines-Suites-02-450x338.jpg 450w, https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Singapore-Airlines-Suites-02-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Singapore-Airlines-Suites-02-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This flight from Frankfurt to New York is a <a href=\"https:\/\/mp-2702.milesopedia.dev\/en\/guide\/libertes-de-lair-quest-cest\/\">5th freedom<\/a> flight.<\/p>\n\n\n<aside class=\"component component__quote wp-block-milesgutenberg-quote\">\n\t<div class=\"component__quote__icon\">\n\t\t<i class=\"fa-solid fa-quote-left\"><\/i>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"component__quote__content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"component__quote__content__inner\">\n\t\t\t\n\n<p>Right granted by one State to another to land and embark, in the territory of the first State, traffic coming from or going to a third State.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore Airlines has obtained the right to operate this flight between Germany and the United States, allowing the aircraft to have a technical stopover. This compares to the 14 seats offered by Emirates in its A380s. In it, you can store two carry-ons as well as clothes. And to learn a little more about Singapore Airlines, like their outfits: did you know that the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Singapore_Girl\">colour<\/a> of ties for men and dresses for women depended on the level of seniority of the crew?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"component component__list\"><ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Green<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Red<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purple<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If it is possible to find the four colours on a flight on the men&#8217;s side, it will be rarer to have a woman in purple (the highest level of seniority).
