Once upon a time in Western Canada: Alberta and British Columbia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Alberta and British Columbia are perfect destinations for those who love breathtaking scenery, road trips, hiking and also modern cities.<\/strong>I would like to share with you my trip to Western Canada (Alberta and British Columbia). It was a popular destination this year, especially for those who did not want to or could not leave the country (because of quarantine, or other reasons).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like many members of the group, I took advantage of the Aeroplan promotion, which was very generous in giving back 50% of the points. I had been collecting points for a long time and this was the first time I used them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normally I plan my trips well in advance, but this one was planned very quickly. I never thought I would be able to go to the other side of the country, since usually, domestic travel is expensive in Canada. I normally prefer destinations with an affordable cost of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most expensive part of the trip was the food, as the hotels were simple and affordable (booked on hotels.com<\/a>), the plane tickets were paid for with Aeroplan points<\/a> and almost all attractions in the Rocky Mountain region are free (just purchase the Parks Canada pass<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bought a package for some attractions in Banff\/Jasper and some paid activities in Vancouver. A small part of the trip was paid with Bonidollars<\/a> and a credit with Expedia,<\/a> and the last night was paid with a certificate for one free night at a Marriott Bonvoy hotel<\/a>, which I got with the ®<\/sup> Card\" href=\"\/go\/amex-marriott-bonvoy-card\/\" rel=\"nofollow sponsored\">Marriott Bonvoy\u2122 American Express®<\/sup> Card.<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
